Dorking Town Area Action Plan
The Council is preparing an Area Action Plan (AAP) for Dorking that looks at how people live, visit, shop and work in the area. The Plan will cover a 10 year period for 2012 - 2022. The Plan sets out planning policies specific to the central area of Dorking and allocates sites for redevelopment. This draft Plan is a material consideration and and should be taken into account by anyone preparing, or responding to, a planning application relating to the development or use of land within the AAP boundary. However as the Plan is not yet adopted the policies and proposals cannot be shown on the interactive map. You are strongly advised to look at the Draft Plan and Proposals Map on the Council's website: http://www.molevalley.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=9164.
The Council is inviting representations on the Dorking Town Area Action Plan Draft Plan between Friday 20th January until 5pm on Friday 2nd March 2012.
