Gateshead Unitary Development Plan (UDP)

The Gateshead Unitary Development Plan is the statutory land use plan for the Borough of Gateshead, and was originally adopted in July 2007
In accordance with transitional arrangements a number of area specific policies have been saved for a a further period from July 2010 onwards, until they are gradually replaced by a series of documents constituting the Local Development Framework.
